I was never that ‘into’ Valentines and truly did call it a “Hallmark” holiday. My distaste has grown over the countless years of being handed millions of class lists by teachers and sitting down to writing BILLIONS of little cards or coming up with some sort of craft or baking to keep the masses happy and their little brown bags full. Full of what? Stuff that went straight into recycling.
But you smile. Because you want your kid to have fun and to figure it out for themselves. Sure I enjoyed Valentines pre kids. Hubs and I managed a few romantic nights a long time ago.
Now it is for the kids and so THANK GOODNESS Hallmark Canada is there to help out.
How did they know 🙂
Also thank goodness for Nana willing to sit and help her write her class cards this year. Mommy doesn’t feel like baking.
My grumpy heart was warmed by this though…..
Adam claimed her. Hmmmm.
This is Tara’s favorite. Which makes me happy, because I loved paper dolls when I was little. She has been playing with this little boxed set since it arrived. It is so sweet.
Once again. When stuck for gift ideas for young and old, don’t forget your Hallmark store. Look at that face. A simple NON ELECTRONIC toy that she can play with for hours.
Happy Valentines everyone…..
