I was so sad that my weird eyesight killing virus sidelined my attempts at the Month of Mom campaign with P&G. It was really a fun idea and a nice way for us to share our experiences with Proctor & Gamble products.
The weird viral eye infection I had slowly started to lift from me in time for my trip to Disneyland and I indeed took P&G products with me and they were fantastic. I also used their products to wash all our clothes AFTER the trip.
Here are some of my new faves from Proctor & Gamble.
Tara has fine hair that goes into hideous tangles and knots and leaves us with much wailing and crying whenever I try to brush it out. It was looking pretty awful leading up to our trip, so I coated her little head in this stuff and THEN ran a comb through it. What a difference. Highly recommend for tough to brush hair. It also is great as it didn’t leave her hair limp or greasy…but soft and light.
I put this one everyday down at Disneyland. Being mom to the hoards usually means I forget or don’t do as good as job on the sunscreen for me versus the rest of the family. I think Olay Complete saved my fair Scottish skin. Californian water is so hard and hard on the skin too, so having a good moisturiser was crucial to keeping my skin feeling fresh and supple.
My husband has been quite keen on finding alternatives to the usual deodorants out there, but I have been slow to jump on that bandwagon as I haven’t found alternatives that I like…either for smell or quality. I don’t do well in the heat, but at least I felt fresh while stomping around the parks.
The Olay wipes were great for the plane for not only oily faces but dirty sticky one’s too. 🙂 I also don’t think ANY family can live without wipes. My ALMOST 4 year old daughter is embarrassingly enough not quite potty trained when it comes to the No. 2 department and so we still need something to help with the clean ups.
I can’t gush enough about this product. I only wear makeup when heading out for some ‘glam’ blogging related events these days and this is what I start my makeup with. I was out at a luncheon the other day hosted by the Women in Leadership Foundation and noticed that my makeup looked as fresh when I returned home as it had when I put it on that morning. This stuff is amazing. Not only long lasting but you don’t FEEL it like other foundation type creams. It is my new best friend.
When we had Adam we lived on the third floor of an apartment building with the wash being down in the basement. This meant that I really was not into doing separate ‘baby’ loads of wash and so then and through the rest of the kids, their clothes were done with ours. However, I have been trying out this Ultra Downy Free and WOW, does it make stuff soft. My towels feel like BUTTER. Amazing.
June means I should be getting some more products from Proctor & Gamble to share with you…they have more giveaways too, so when I get my act together, keep an eye out. Do tell me what products you are interested in hearing more about or want to see in giveaways, etc. I will happily share the information.
I have added the video below…it isn’t about the products, but the manufacturing process.
