So tomorrow is my mom’s birthday. With work/school/life there aren’t big plans…but she is going out with some of her friends and me n the kids will try to show her how much she means to us as much as we can for now. In all honesty, I don’t think there is much we could manage to truly show how grateful we are for her love, her kindness and dishwashing, dog letting out to pee, kid picking up and all else that she does for me and my family on a daily basis.
I lead a disorganized and chaotic life and my togethered mom just grits her teeth and steps in to help me out and tries to not say too much about the mess my house is in.
Thanks mom.
My mom is an amazing lady and has not led the life that she should have had…..hence my efforts to make sure she is as close to me and her grandkids as much as possible. We are all that I can give her just now. I can’t give her riches or travel or fancy gifts…..but I and the kids can give her our love. The kids love their nana…..she never thought she would be a nana….she assumed ‘granny’ but nana stuck. And she is a fantastic nana. The kids know that her love is unconditional…..but she won’t put up with any bullshit……they love that she is real and honest with them.
Thanks mom.
My mom puts up with my scattered thoughts and distractedness. She forgives a lot. Without ever saying anything. And still brings me homemade soup.
So while myself and the kids go through our whirlwind day….we will be thinking of you mom and will see you after school and work and try to show you how much we care…..but can’t really.
Thank you mom…..
I love you very much.
Happy Birthday.
