Beat the Heat in Sydney

December 19, 2015 by Kerry Sauriol Leave a Comment

As  I was researching this article, I checked the current temperature in Sydney, Australia.  Right now it is 31 degrees.  Which is about the top of the temperature that my pallid Scottish body can handle and about as hot as it ever gets here in Vancouver.     Apparently showers are also in the forecast too.   I would love to visit Sydney and picture it as a warmer version of Vancouver with more things that can kill you.

In Vancouver, while you will find commercial conditioners all over the place, very few homes have more thansplit-system-air-conditioning the window types installed. When it gets hot here, the stores are emptied of the electric fans and we all complain a lot. Weirdly a lot of Scottish people have immigrated to Australia, including quite a few of my relatives.   I am assuming they all learned about air conditioning pretty quickly.

Wattle Grove air conditioning in Sydney has a great website that clearly and simply explains not only the installation process but the differences types of air conditioning for the home and commercial spaces.   I did not know what a Split System was versus the more robust ducted system for bigger spaces.

If you are in the area and in need of a better system, check out their site and ask for a quote.
