We have been blessed with some pretty decent weather here in Vancouver over the Spring Break so we haven’t had too many days where we needed to find QUIET home entertainment…but we have had a few downpours and so thank goodness for the arrival of this little DVD. We have all loved the Tinker Bell series of movies. The quality of storytelling, and production on these DVD’s has been amazing. From beautiful music to magical stories about our favourite fairy friends….these are all keepers for the DVD collection.
This newest installment explores an ancient myth of a fabled creature the ‘Neverbeast’ and Tinker Bell’s (Mae Whitman) good friend Fawn (Ginnifer Goodwin), who is an an animal fairy and like Tink, not afraid to break the rules to help an animal in need. This strange creature that she befriends is not really welcome in Pixie Hollow, and the scout fairies are determined to capture the mysterious beast before it destroys their home. Fawn, who sees a tender heart beneath his gruff exterior, must convince Tink and the girls to risk everything to rescue the NeverBeast before time runs out. It is a lovely gentle little story that had me a bit weepy at the end.
The DVD is available right now.
