While avoiding the free-way congestion the other day, we detoured down 264th to 88th and cut through Fort Langley to Walnut Grove. If you want to see some amazing homes, that is the area to drive through. The one that made us all ooh and aah was what was either a barn conversion or a house made to look like the traditional red barn. It was gorgeous. Now, if you are like me and rent OR can’t LIVE in a barn, you can bring the barn feel to your home with the gorgeous sliding door hardware from Barn Door Hardware.
I have seen this concept more and more in condos and spaces were a traditional hinged door don’t work and space is at a premium. I love the idea to replace boring old closet door and other storage spaces. Barn Door Hardware has an amazing collection of fittings to suit your style and needs including Antique Barn Door Hardware and other more contemporary styles.
While I rent and can’t do TOO much to our home when it comes to renovations, this is something that is fairly simple to manage. The sliding door hardware comes in all shapes, sizes and is available for industrial and residential purposes. The fittings come in many materials including bamboo and I love the hammered look here.
Whether you are taking on a total home renovation or just looking for some easy and affordable upgrades to your work or living space, creating a unique sliding door with any of the sliding door hardware that Barn Door Hardware will give you the ability to put your own creative mark on your home. Think of the possibilities.
I would much rather use a gorgeous old reclaimed door or antique wood panels to make a statement in my home than the usual generic pieces that you find in contemporary homes. I currently dislike the fake wood closet doors in the bedrooms and would LOVE to use some of these ideas to take away the yuck factor from the closets. Time to hit Pinterest for some inspiration I think.
