I have mentioned the upcoming 20th Annual Wellness show that starts February 17th at the Vancouver Convention Centre over on WetCoastWomen. For an idea of just how huge and varied the show is, click here. I am most keen on the Living Well and Women and Wellness Tracks.
As a wife and mother I tend to put myself last on the ladder of well being…..physically and mentally. It took me a month to get antibiotics for a MONTH long cough. I am not a martyr…..it is just that I tend to be more focused on those I love and can forget the ‘self love’ and how important that is too.
I am looking forward to the workshops and chatting with the many exhibitors….I hope to be inspired and find solutions that will lead me to feeling more satisfied with life and moving forward in a more positive manner. If you can’t find that at a wellness show, where can you? Our much loved entrepreneurial and personal coach, Heather White is speaking on the Friday on this very topic.
So, I hope to see you there. What can I do to show you how cool this event is? I have a gift basket!!
This is a beautiful ‘Pacific Spirit Wellness Package.’ Inside it contains beautiful hand poured candles, a gift certificate for ‘Spiritual Calligraphy’ and a gift certificate for a 6 week meditation program. A perfect package for you to start on your own road to wellness and better living.
To win, simply leave me a comment below sharing what you do for some self time. This is a BC only giveaway. Prize draw will take place on the 15th. Just before the show.

With a 2.5 year old, I carve out me time whenever I can. So I run on my lunch hour – it’s time to get inside my head and just listen to some music.

For time for myself, I go do yoga or pilates. I just started taking classes at a studio and I’m improving little by little. It’s a great way to meet people who are active and it encourages me to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

When I need time for myself, I go for a jog along the Stanley Park seawall. It is really refreshing to be by the water and just enjoy the scenery in front of me.

When I need to unload some stress, I meditate. I put on some candles and incense and meditate for 15 minutes. It’s enough for me to calm down!
