Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

Crayola Reviews by the Crunch Children

April 29, 2010 by Kerry Sauriol 1 Comment

So you may have noticed the new widget over on the side. A while back I was asked to be part of the Crayola ‘Mom Advisory Panel.’ Being that my kids are HUGE crayola users they freaked about this.

They REALLY freaked when the first box of stuff arrived the other day.

Product Testing from Crayola

Tara Watches from Within

Tara was very interested in Caity’s preliminary viewings of the 3D Tinker Bell Sidewalk Chalk.

Blessed with some good weather, much drawing and painting was done by Caity and Adam and their friends.

Crayola Paint!

The 3D paint was a HUGE hit. The kids had great fun copying pictures and using the stencils provided with both sets. The girls LOVED all the Fairy stencils and Adam loves all the images that came with the paint and the easy to use roller and paint tray.

The 3D aspect is a gimmick, but a fun one and I was amazed at how well the glasses do work on all their creations.

Caity Showing All Her Work

Chalk and washable paints are the best for any sunny day. We had all the local kids working away on their art projects and kept everyone quiet for hours on on end.

Later on Tara joined Caity in the tub where they tested out the ‘Beginnings Tub Boat.’ This has easy to hold crayons for little one’s..18 months and up….they sit in this little boat.

I am happy to report that they do wash off our vinyl bath surround very easily and the kids had a blast writing and drawing all over the tub and each other with them.

As I mentioned, we are heavy Crayola users in this family. Always buying new markers, crayons or creativity and colouring sets. I do think the less complicated, though the better and the chalk and paint have proved that.

The kids are looking forward to trying out more products down the road…but the sidewalk paint and chalks in 3D got a huge thumbs up from the kids crunch!
