Because I feel like the day is done already!
Got up about 7 this morning (from Adam’s bed – he and Daddy were snoring in the big bed), and found the answering machine blinking at me.
It is Crunchy Husband’s mom. She is feeling really ill and panicking.
Go wake him..he calls and then heads over.
I have to go get the kids up and ready as Adam has soccer.
Get mom to watch Caity while I take Adam to his soccer lesson.
That is an hour of hysteria. 5 year olds trying to play soccer.
Get through that, drag the kids out of Nana’s house as she has to work…get home and CH calls…..taking their mom to the hospital. They think it is heart attack.
He then calls me a bit later to say she is having Angioplasty done and so he is totally freaked.
Hopefully she will be fine…but now has a NEW ailment to use to get away with doing nothing for herself.
THANKFULLY the kids have calmed down and been happy with snacks and playing and tv.
I SHOULD be sorting mountains of laundry and getting everyone outside….but I really just want tea and a nap and not think about all these stressful things.
Poor CH.
His birthday is tomorrow.
Nice birthday huh…your mom in hospital!?
We were going to go out tonight too. Poor guy won’t feel like it now.
We better go make cards for him and his mom though….

I totally understand what you are going through. I hate it when my day doesnt go as planned. I had 6 kids here today and didnt plan that.
