This is such an neat idea…especially if you are interested in improving your blog in a more ‘business’ like manner!
I found Mr. Ellsworth through my dear friend at Women Walking in Wisdom’s Footsteps. She has quite a high caliber of readership and I am always blown away when I read her posts AND her readers comments and sites.
I decided to fill out the questionnaire for his SOAP project and give it a whirl. Today I received a lovely email from my SOAP’er and he kindly made an effort to critique and help me with my little blog and is willing to do more too.
Why do I love this? I love the idea that I can get feed back from people who are NOT mommy bloggers, or personal bloggers or whatever. That people who blog for different reasons – business, technology, marketing, etc – are willing to look at blogs that may have NO personal or business interests in.
I think it is great to have people just look at your blog or website as just that….one of a million other sites out there.
I love that blogging builds such communit.
Thanks guys!

Thanks! I’ll SOAP your blog myself in the next week or so. I really hope we can continue SOAP in grander fashion somehow – your thoughts are welcome. Bloggers helping bloggers smell squeaky clean – ain’t it great? 🙂
I love your blog title and masthead, by the way. Only parents really understand the magnitude of that two-word phrase – “crunchy carpets!”

Crunchy Carpets, you are so sweet! Thank you so much for those kind words. Remember, you are also one of those who gives wonderful feedback and has quite the interesting blog. “Crunchy Carpets…” How about “crunchy floors” in general?

Kerry,
Easton’s SOAP project is great fun, isn’t it?
Easton, I think dog owners can relate to crunchy carpets too (although ours hang out on tile floors). Dogs bring such wonderfully crunchy things in from the yard.

Oh yeah..my poor carpets since we got the dog….between the kids and her bringing in strange things….yeah…
I need a new vacuum!
And thanks again Kent for your input….
