Well, it was a nice and cold sunny day here…had to scrape the car this am, after a mad scramble to get Adam up and ready for pre school.
Yesterday I went to see a gynecologist about ‘those’ issues and she didn’t see anything amiss and just shrugged me off, so oh well I guess. I followed up with my doctor today and he read me a letter from the Oncologist who basically said ‘oh well’ too.
So apparently I am healthy and normal and I guess back to square one regarding the mysterious attack.
I plan on working on my diet and exercise and see if that helps. Can’t hurt anyway.
Today is the two year anniversary of my father-in-law’s death..so my hubby is not feeling that great today. Poor guy.
For me, it was actually a good day. I have been feeling pretty good mood wise. I haven’t gotten crazy at the kids and we have so far have managed to get things done and have fun!
The worst is that I have a hurting husband and a hurting friend right now and I can’t fix them and I wish I could.
Anyway……
Tuesday is supposed to be Website Review day…..
I think I will do some promo work here for some of the folks that I find very huggable!
The first is our friend Barb over at Skittles Place. This blog is amazing. She has put sooo much effort into that place. It is FILLED with things to read and do. She has taught me a lot about blog traffic and I have found many wonderful blog sites and friends through her. She has managed to gather top quality folks around her, including her husband.
She has worked so hard on it all, that she is suffering a bit of burnout right now and needs to work on pacing herself between the blog world and the real world. We all know what that is like. Nobody that doesn’t blog can possibly understand the draw…the addiction. So while we will miss the instant gratification of her busy site…we want her to keep posting in a form that works for her.
Another blog I want to introduce you to is a fellow ‘mommy blogger’ called Shaz who hangs out at her lovely blog Adventures in Motherhood.’
She is a sweet and open and very honest woman. Her posts have touched my heart on many occasions and I have learned a lot about a culture and religion that I knew very little about.
She has three of the cutest little boys I have ever seen and a very funny and witty husband.
Check out Scoobalicious for some amazing recipes…She puts me to shame.
Her other site…a community site called Nisaa is wonderful and the ladies there are great. A warm and open community of Muslim Women and I love sticking my nose in there and am glad for the chance to meet with people from different backgrounds, religions and culture.
She will kill me for this. She is a very modest person…I don’t know how she puts up with me as a friend who CONSTANTLY emails her for help with my sites!!!
So to all……hugs for the bloggers out there! And your families and friends.
I think it is that kind of day.

I’m glad the tests came out ok. Sometimes the best thing you can do for someone who is hurting is just be there. I’m sorry for your husband’s loss. Just hold him extra tight tonight.

So sorry about the hubs’ anniversary of loss. And so glad that things are ok at the other doc’s venue.
Adam is a high maintenance jewel who reminds you that life goes on, this very moment matter most and aren’t you so very glad to have Caiti.

It is 6 years for me this year, so I know how your hubby feels. It gets easier, though no less painful. He’ll be ok.
There’s a few hundred bloggers who owe a lot to Skittles, myself included. She’s the hub of something special, and she’s right to pace herself. You can forget she hasn’t been blogging long relatively speaking, she just needs to find a natural healthy rhythm. I know I haven’t yet….
