On a dark and gloomy Saturday, what is more fun than to spend some time with Crayola creating and crafting. So today was the day. It has been crazy busy around here and this was our time to destress and stay in our pajamas and take a look at all the fun stuff Crayola had sent us to try out.
Today Caitlyn checked out the Cling Creator. This mould machine has everything you need to make those crazy rubbery window cling forms. It comes with the solution, colours, pre-made moulds and clay to make your own. I recommend this one for sure for tweens (girls especially) as this kept her attention for most of the afternoon, as she got braver and more creative with the colours and shapes she wanted to try. You can also get refill kits.
Tara and I tackled the Crayon Carver and the Colour Wonder Mess Free Stamper. The Mess Free Stamper is absolutely mom approved here. Simple, easy and fun to use, it comes with a variety of stamps, markers and a pad of paper so the kids can stamp away without ruining themselves or the house while they get creative.
The Crayon Carver was a bit more complicated, but ideal for families where art supplies are shared as you can use it to carve their names or any other forms of id right onto the crayons themselves.
I was boggled that it worked and Tara was better at it than I was! She could set it up herself no problem.
In fact I have noticed that Crayola and these sort of things get easier to set up for the kids everytime. Thanks Crayola. The most the yelling was about was whose turn it was next. Tara right now is trying out the Cling Creator herself and is having NO trouble on her own, so again, YAY Crayola for making stress free fun.
We have yet to tackle the Thread Wrapper and the Easy Animation Studio. Will report back with the kids reviews of these and to show some other ideas from Crayola for stocking stuffer and other gift ideas.

Crayola Crayon Carver

- Carve words & designs on crayons to make your mark!
Carve your message as you trace. Simply snap down the tiles to spell out your message & trace inside each one with the stylus. Give crayon compliments to friends and family, make party favours or create your own special designs.
Crayola Easy Animation Studio
Using the included 30-page booklet, kids can colour in characters and backgrounds, then scan them into the animation studio using the Free Easy Animator app (works with iOs and Android). Once characters and backgrounds are loaded, kids can make their characters move using a poseable mannequin in a stop-motion process (but much faster and easier!).
