Back in July I did a giveaway and post about Bayer Advantix K9 Flea & Tick treatment for Dogs. The treatment has worked very well in what appears to be a very bug filled summer this time around. We have had not flea issues at all and have been very happy to not find ticks on any of us despite us being surrounded by grassy play areas here for human and pets. It has been the best and quickest working treatment we haveused over the years, and we will be making sure we are using it year round just in case.
Part of my review also included a “spa” treatment for one our dogs. We picked Lily as she is our most biddable pet, though she was terrified about us leaving her with strangers, the people at Bow Wow Haus on East Broadway treated her like gold. Being that we are owners of mutts and usually short haired breeds, we have never bothered with paying others to bathe etc our dogs and do it ourselves. However, I highly recommend getting you dog used to such an experience at a young age, especially if you are having problems keeping their nails clipped like we are. Getting them done by a pro is a so worth it but only if your dog is used to having their paws and toes manhandled. Lily was not impressed.
However she turned up lovely and clean and shiny and their prices are very reasonable.
