February is probably the most perfect time for the Wellness show…this is the time. This is the time we need to be reflecting on how we are living our lives and how to make us and our lifestyles better. The Wellness Show is the perfect place for that and it starts tomorrow.
I did have the opportunity presented to me to interview some of the amazing guests that are presenting at the show this year, but time and trying to fit the stories into what Crunchy is all about, let me floundering a bit….but I wanted to make sure that people still new about the event this weekend and take a chance to go down and experience it.
- Julie Van Rosendaal is a very popular blogger (Dinner with Julie), cookbook author and nutritional writer. She has a new book out called Alice Eats: the Wonderland Cookbook. She’ll be doing a cooking demonstration at the show on Saturday afternoon.
- Julie Daniluk is the host of The Healthy Gourmet on OWN. She’ll be doing a workshop at the show called How The Anti-Inflammatory Diet Can Heal Chronic Disease.
- Dr. Joti Samra is host of Million Dollar Neighbourhood, and will be giving a workshop on Psychological Health and Wellness.

There are 5 stages featuring fitness demonstrations (Jumping Fitness, Square Dancing, Nia), Wellness Workshops (Stress Reduction, meditation, Ayurveda), Women and Wellness Presentations (Managing Your Hormones, Weight Loss, Thyroid), Living Well Seminars (Preventng Inflammation, Gluten-Free Diets, Colon Health), and the incredibly popular Celebrity Chef Stage, presented by
Alligga Flax Oil (featuring executive chefs from Acorn, Graze, Tojo’s and The Parker).
The Wellness Show runs Friday, February 14 (noon to 8 pm), Saturday, February 15 (10 am to 7 pm) and Sunday, February 16 (10 am to 6 pm) at the Vancouver Convention Centre, East Building Exhibit Hall B & C, 999 Canada Place.
Ticket prices are: $14.50 (General Admission), $12.50 (Seniors & Students), $6.00 (Children 6-15), and FREE (Children 5 & Under), 3 Day Passes are available for $30. Admission is available at the door, or may be purchased in advance online.
