Because the gods have a sick sense of humour, both my daughters have lovely nails that grow shapely and long…unlike mine, which I discourage with my biting habits. Yes, ew. Caitlyn LOVES to paint her nails. She loves to paint them over and over and therefore finding child friendly, durable AND easy to remove nail polish is important to me and my carpets. Ice Cream Dream was my favourite of the shades we sampled while Caity loves the Groovy Grape. Piggy Paint is “Natural as Mud” (but much prettier). With a 3-Free, non-toxic, water based formula. You can get a nice Top-Coat and also remover from the Piggy Paint brand which has no odour and contains no acetone. See…is SAFE. The dogs nails were also painted and they seemed to like it too.
Nail Polish Canada also has their various nail decals for kids too. The kids are all over that. As far as prices go, they are fairly reasonable compared to some of the other polishes that profess quality and safety for kids.
We have really enjoyed the sample colours we picked this summer as they were long lasting and fun.
