Because, really, what is the point of having kids if we can’t use them to express our own geekiness right? How cool is it to use our children to display our nerdiness AND support a local company. THAT makes me happy.
Meet the folks behind Geekling Designs, a Chilliwack based Jennifer and Rob Thornton started their venture to cater to those of us who love a little pop culture fun in our baby rearing. Geekling is constantly creating fun hats, tees and cute accessories like these clips. ADORB!!!!!
What also got my attention is the Jennifer and Rob are supporting the same cause too. Tara is wearing one of their ‘EmPOWer Me!’ shirts in support of Plan Canada. With two daughters of my own, helping develop strong and confident girls who hopefully will share a bit of my nerdy ways is very important to me. I love that Jennifer and Rob are having fun with this. Geekling Designs is also proud to donate $2 from each sale of EmPOWer Me! Collection to Plan Canada’s Because I am a Girl charity.
As you can tell Tara really digs the Batman baby hat and her awesome ‘I Can Rescue Myself” t-shirt.
