Once again there is a merry glow coming from the Vancouver Aquarium as the present their Luminescence feature over the holidays. Running from November 22nd to January 22nd, the aquarium highlights some of the residence who can cast a merry glow in their watery homes.
We got to check out the light show this Saturday and the kids loved seeing the Electric Eels zapping up the beautiful origami Jelly Fish that adorn the Aquarium.
The Vancouver Aquarium is great at featuring what could be their less exciting residents, and seeing fluorescing anenomies and big glowing scorpions sure shows you just how weird and wonderful our world is.
The light show is made extra special by a visit by the one and only SCUBA Clause – a big hit with the kids. Even my Santa shy daughter was happy to watch him visit the fishes. The Aquarium is never a wasted visit and it is fun to see them melding education and holiday fun for all ages.
