I will admit that due to a bad cold and spring break messing up my schedule I have sucked totally on my Real Living Nutrition Program. Having the kids home messed up my power walking to pick them up from school. This was great as I was killing two birds with one stone. With Tara in the jogging stroller, I was able to take a 45 min fast walk with the puppy through the neighbourhood and across the dog park every day. I was really enjoying it. The weather has been awful here and the kids had colds too, so I wasn’t inclined to haul them through the rain.
I haven’t beaten myself up though. I have been focusing on the goals I could try…..one being reducing sugar and caffeine. That has been an accomplishment. I have also been making sure I eat breakfast and focus on water and some juice throughout the day. I am not even thinking about losing weight at the moment. I want to concentrate on changing my habits and then being pleased with the results including weightloss.
That is why I like this program….everything is food for thought and steps and stages to take on at your own pace and time….the way that works for you.
This week has lots of fitness ideas, but unfortunately I will have to wait (weight) till the kids are back in school to organize a fitness program for me.
