Zoobles for Nintendo DS

November 10, 2011 by Kerry Sauriol 1 Comment

When we first spotted the ads for Zoobles on TV, we all said ‘aaah Bakugan for girls!’   This made my daughter happy. She was even happier when she received her first Zooble as a McDonalds toy (ah marketing!).   When I told her there was a Zoobles game available to check out for Nintendo DS….she was very happy.

We had to buy a  DS for Caity when she was quite young because her brother got one…you understand.  She wasn’t that interested in it, but we were happy to see that Nintendo had a wide variety of games available for girls and the younger set.  She played many colouring games until she discovered all her Disney Princess games on there too.

Zoobles are little round toys that ‘spring’ to life due to their magnetism.  They are cute.  Girls like cute.  Check out the Activision site for more images and details on the game.  After you watch the eye candy Sam Worthington on the Modern Warfare ad first.  🙂

I love that my daughter can go from playing Call of Duty (zombie level) with her brother to playing a game like Zoobles.   We really need to remember that our sons and daughters are not stereotypes.  They also don’t also match the level that games and shows are geared towards. You know your kids.  Or you should.  Zoobles is rated E for everyone.  It is easy to figure out for young players, but has obviously hooked our seven year old Caity too.

The Zoobles game gives you the chance to interact and care for 18 different characters. You can choose your news BFF and nurture and care for them during your adventures. Your Zooble gets to explore 6 distinct lands with names like Azoozia, Chillville, and Jungleopolis with various features and characters to meet. Along the way you can unlock and collect various special items for your ‘Happitats’ where your Zoobles live. There are many games and activities in each land and different friends for your Zooble!

For a limited time, the Zoobles game comes with its very own Zooble toy!

If you have a little gamer….this might be a good Christmas present!
