Well Crunchy Carpets is looking shiny and new thanks to Amanda at Violet Minded Design.
I have liked the looks of CC all these years, but I thought it was due an update as it was clunking out on me more often than not.
My main goal of the new look is to have a better and cleaner way to separate the blogs about me n the kids and the posts about products and giveaways…I think before leaping into the overwhelming idea of separate review blogs, I just wanted to make sure the blog wasn’t getting too mixed up or impersonal….as the PERSONAL is the first and foremost reason for the blog.
That said, I do like doing some reviews…if the products work for myself and the site AND I am not currently being swamped by things like REAL LIFE.
Tara is finally over her weird virus thing…an ailment that seemed to mystify all the experts. We are all just glad to see her happy and back to her usual crazy self.
The kids have been keeping busy during these long hot summer days…Adam has been adopted by a family who take him with them on all their pool visits, so he is happy and Caitlyn has been TRYING to get along with others, but in the process driving us all bonkers.
I am really looking forward to their week of day camp!
We are also in a state of happy shock that Father Crunch – Patrick has booked some time off this summer…the kids are thrilled and I hope we manage to do SOME family stuff and not just cram in all the busyness stuff that always needs caught up on.
My house is a mess….it is too hot to feel motivated to clean and just too much kid wrangling to do too.
No rest for the wicked as they say.
The I’m Not Going to BlogHer Party takes place on August 6…I would love for lots of peeps to attend. BlogHer is donating some cash for our food and drinkie supplies and the people behind Thera Wise ® Natural Bio-Active Therapeutic Ointments have asked if they could provide those attending with samples of their product, which is very nice of them!
Summers are for fun!
It is getting a tad hot in the computer corner here…please let me know your thoughts on the design and anything that would make it better….

I don’t think it can lose the personal feeling with the warmth of your voice.

I love it. I like how fresh it looks, how organized it is and how bright and tidy it is. Nice work!
Glad to hear Tara is better. Those unexplained illnesses are always the hardest since you never know what to expect.
