So yeah, I really shouldn’t have watched the finale of ER last night.
I could feel my non-inverted uterus climbing into my lungs in horror.
Between that and Carter talking about his dead son. Well, you can imagine how good my preggo hormones were doing.
I am just creeping up on 26 weeks with this pregnancy. At this stage, my poor Scott was already dead. I just didn’t know it.
I feel that the constant wiggling and kicking from this little girl is a way of her saying ‘don’t worry, I am fine.’
It has been a year and a half and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him.
On a slighter lighter note…a year ago this Saturday we were winging our way down to Disneyland, care of my best friend who KNEW we needed a break, and escape as a family. And it worked.
We had SUCH a great time. It really was a great vacation. For all of us.

She is okay mommy…and soon (although I’m sure not soon enough) she’ll be in your arms wriggling and kicking from the outside. 🙂 I’m so excited for you all.

I’m glad this little girl is doing the shimmy of reassurance for you. Even with no previous loss I was a mess whenever the boys would have a less active day. And ER is the worst about the mom and baby deaths. I watched a lot of ER on maternity leave and would almost always end up in tears.

It always amazes me how prominate some things are when we’ve experienced them. Things we would have never noticed or been bothered by before are suddenly right in our faces. Ugh. I hope you are relaxing and enjoying your little soccer player! At least she knows mom needs a bit more reassurance!
