Crunchy Carpets

Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

Oops….

July 8, 2007 by Kerry Sauriol 49 Comments

Blurry proof that we are foolish and fertile.

Very early in the game…only 3 or 4 weeks at the most.

Figured it was safe to tell YOU guys, because we told the Nana’s now…..I just have to tell the rest of the family and friends…..they will no doubt just roll their eyes!

My best friend found out first and then my mom second ONLY because they both wanted me to share some wine with them!

First words from my MIL..’well you will have to have a c-section you know…it is mandatory after age 32.’   Crunchy husband pointed out that we had our FIRST at 32, and perhaps times have changed a bit.  Sigh.

My mom is laying bets on the gender already with Adam.
He wasn’t impressed at first but is thinking about the idea  of yet another sibling.

We will need a bigger house!

Congratulations! We’ve had two oops’s. Some people say we have birth control irresponsibility but I say we are birth control challenged because we are so fertile. My hubby takes his pants off in the same room and I seem to get pregnant so we both got fixed. But this isn’t about me. That’s great news. Surprise pregnancies are the best! A little miracle happened in your body unbeknownst to you.

LOL…a c-section because you are over 32. I was over 32 and had already had 2 c-sections when I had my youngest. I managed to do just fine delivering without a c-section. (Well if you don’t count all the doctors and hospital staff trying to convince me to have a c-section again.)

If you need a bigger house, does this mean you’ll be moving out my way now? Poco’s pretty. Pitt is pithy. Maple Ridge is ridgey! All good choices!

I am so excited and happy for you. Though the sight of your two lines sends both terror and wistfulness through me at the same time.

Fertile and foolish. I love it! 🙂

I still have all six of my positive tests somewhere in a box.
