to be given a bra by your mom when you are 37 years old?
Just asking.
She was concerned for me when I couldn’t find a new one with two freakishly hyper kids in tow. She brought me one she had just bought and got me to try it on….and keep it.
I think I do actually owe her money for it.
I sometimes wonder if I could actually function as a human being and parent without her.
Today she watched Caity for me while I attended the most boring and monotonous preschool field trip in history.
If you are planning to take the kids to see cruise ships….would you not check to see if there are any cruise ships actually in the port?
It was like a ghost town downtown today. Creepy actually. No wind…the air was very still and there were huge anvil shaped storm clouds on the horizon. The air pressure was making my ears pop.
The only activity was the little sea buses trundling across the inlet. And maybe three seaplanes. Very very quiet.
So basically the field trip consisted of taking the bus and the skytrain and then walking around a very quiet cruise ship port/conventions centre.
Oh well.
Now I am a bit confused. The kids wanted to make cookies but we were out shopping and now it is 4:30. Adam just ate a wack load of sushi with his dad but had wanted to hot dogs for dinner. Do I make dogs or what? Do I make cookies and then eat them all when the kids are in bed?
Decisions decisions.

nah i don’t think it was weird, i think it was thoughtful of her to do, since she knew you were to preoccupied.
