Yep, I forgot the tops of my feet. Â I got more burned than my kids….I was spending so much time watching THEIR hats and THEIR sunscreen that I didn’t pay enough attention to me!
We were at a gorgeous spot...Semiahmoo Beach
It is south of the White Rock EAST Beach. You can see the Peach Arch at the US border from there.  It is a dog friendly beach and you just need to hike over the railway to get there. It is also dog friendly so it was fun watching all the happy dogs running around.
Low tide is about noon and so we had about 5 hours of soft sand and warm pools.
My face was fine yesterday but today is a bit puffy and itchy. Hmmmmm.
Adam is born for the sea. We couldn’t get him out of the water. Caity was a bit horrified by the sea weed and wildlife. When she saw the sand alive with MOVING SHELLS, she just about lost it.
This was her preferred position.
Love the shoes on backwards! 🙂 It’s like this for my son too!
Ouch! I do that all the time- forget about myself! We are going to the beach in Florida the end of July, and I can’t wait!
lol Caity the little princess….too funny! Now if only she’d had a nice little Shirley Temple with an umbrella in it, she’d probably be quite happy!
LOL @ Caity! And ouch about your feet! I’ve done the same thing, boy does it smart!
i burnt my feet on our zoo field trip-mine are the opposite of yours lol
and Caity-i feel your pain. when we spent a week at the beach 2 summers ago, ds#3 was like that too often lol!!
looks like a great time
just dropped by to see what crunchy was up to…poor tootsies! a day on the beach is worth a little ouch… isn’t it?!? i hope so cuz i toasted my nose this weekend. it is not very flattering. i’m putting a bag over my head for the rest of the week until the peeling subsides.
