I hate getting beyond myself.
I hate wanting things that I am not bright enough to figure out.
Stupid? Yes.
But I am an impatient person who expects more from myself. I wish it was like the Matrix and I could download 'how to code.'
I don't even know if it because of the theme I picked..if there are one's with this built in or not……the 3K2 one HAD a LINK PAGE….which is what I want.
I have spent hours trying to read all the how to's and troubleshooting and get the gist of it…but don't see what they are referring to in my set up…so I blame the theme and not my brain….so there!

Oh and ps????!!! I was all proud that I downloaded widgets with all sorts of mysterious names…..um now what? What do I do with the widgets? The help says things about dragging them places….my theme is not set up like that….or is it just me???

a. Is your theme ‘widget ready’?
b. Have you installed the widget plugin: http://automattic.com/code/widgets/
Once you have, you should have a ‘widget’ option under the ‘presentation’ tab in your dashboard. Then just drag & drop your widgets around your sidebar.
Anything in your sidebar ‘non-widgetized’ will get pushed down. If you want to make these things into widgets, you can just copy their code into a text widget, so you can drag&drop them. You will need the PHP in sidebar plugin as well though.
