Long long ago, a startled and sleep deprived mom ventured forth into the ‘Parenting’ websites to find solace in the words of other confused mothers. In that venue Crunchy Carpets was born. She made a lot of friends. Had a lot of laughs.

Then she discovered blogging. In June 0f 2006, Crunchy started a blogger site. The power was giddy and she was soon pounding out countless posts about her little family, uploading photos, joining directories, creating vast blogrolls and so on.

She loved it.

Yet it wasn’t quite right. It wasn’t quite the content or format that she felt totally comfortable with. She thought it could be more. So she deleted it.

She set up a smaller site so she would not lose all her blogging friends and keep a place for her to ramble on. Crunchy Ramblings picked up where the old Crunchy Carpets left off.

In the mean time, with the help of clever techie bloggie friends, she started to explore the world of Word Press and web hosts and found that she could probably figure out a lot of this herself. Shape her little world. Build up a site that was super deluxe Crunchy.

Who is Crunchy Carpets. I am a mom. I have two insane children, Crunchy Girl is 3.5 and Crunchy Boy is 5.5. Most of the blogging world know their real names…Caity and Adam.

I have been married for over 9 years to Crunchy Husband. We have our ups and downs. I love him very much. More importantly, I admire him. He is clever and creative and filled with fun and imagination. He is a writer who works from home. Makes for yet another dynamic to make life interesting.
We live in Vancouver, BC.
