Makeover Monday
My Goal for this week is real simple…though probably too late. – Don’t yell at the kids while my neighbour is home and all the doors are open. She will cancel the daycare gig. In fact she is probably out right now trying to find a replacement sitter. All this woman has heard for the […]
My Neighbourhood
It is a pretty place, filled with trees and parks and a relatively low crime rate. My neighbours are an interesting mix though. The single mom two doors down has a license plate holder that says “If You Enjoy Riding My Ass So Much, At Least Pull My Hair” Last night (well, four am) a […]
Everyone Reminds Me of My Dog!
I sometimes like the dog more than my kids… Oh and yes..that is the “masterbedroom”…..and it is the catch all for the junk that we keep hoping to get rid off AAAAND that was CLEAN laundry that hasn’t been put away yet. I think there is a law about laundry and Canada Day.
How the Mightly have Fallen…
or so we like to think. We had a couple of dear friends over for a BBQ yesterday.  It was great fun. A rare treat for us to hang and chat with our friends. We covered ALL sorts of topics, movies, politics, sci fi (surprise!), and some gossip. Still, the one thing that seem […]
Not Nerd Enough

I love a trip to the park with NO Meltdowns!
Despite the panic this morning of having NO INTERNET ACCESS…all things smoothed out. My poor Crunchy Husband went out again to help his mom and is not back yet. But we kept the home fires burning. No meltdowns either. Hoping to watch Pan’s Labyrinth tonight. In peace (gasp!)
Ups and Downs….
Nana, bless her, took Adam on his preschool field trip to Grouse Mountain today.  I would have been fine going, but worried about care for Caity and so on.  The quiet allowed me to get some work done, blogging included. Caity woke up Monday with puffy pink eyes. We were a bit concerned as they […]
It Sometimes Boggles Me
Somedays…..I guess when the martyr is hanging around….I boggle at how much you have to DO as a stay at home mom. Hats off to the working moms..because I don’t know how you can work AND keep the home fires burning or the house burning down or whatever. The sheer volume of STUFF that needs […]
