Looking Good With Vidal Sassoon & Proctor & Gamble

April 6, 2015 by Kerry Sauriol Leave a Comment

Back in ye olden days, I was a coordinator at a hair salon at the mall.  I have always loved all things hair, so I was in heaven.  I loved getting my hair cut and coloured all the pretty shades and I loved getting a discount on all the salon products.   I was a total product snob. Only the best for my hair  I vowed.  Until I was no longer working their and therefore not getting the staff discount.  Since then, I have searched for the best store bought products for my hair.   I do spend my hard earned dollars to get my hair cut and coloured by professionals, but always look for the best washing and styling products that can maintain that colour and handle my insanely thick hair.

This is another reason I love working with Proctor & Gamble, since they represent so many great hair products, both for washing and styling.  Adam’s hair has improved dramatically since he started using the Head & Shoulders products and Caity swears by the Herbal Essences line.   When it comes to managing my colours and variations on the bob repeated over and over, one product has stood out.

Vidal-Sassoon-Pro-Series-Boost-Lift-Foaming-Air-Mousse

This mousse from Vidal Sassoon is supposed to be for volume, and that is one thing I don’t need in my hair, but what it does for me is give my just enough hold to maintain my style without feeling heavy in my hair.  It is light weight and doesn’t leave any flaky residue as I have found with other mousse styling products.    I have also used their Heat Protection spray since my hair needs such marathon sessions with the hair dryer.   Both have helped keep my lovely reds nice and shiny instead of dull and flat.

So thank you P&G for being friendly not only to my family’s hair, but also with my pocket book.
