Caity and I were THRILLED to be invited to not only see the Katy Perry concert last night, but also MEET her! For this we needed some serious glamming and turned to CoverGirl to help us out. Katy is the ‘spokesmodel’ for CoverGirl’s InstaGlam lineup. Check out the collection here, for tips and tricks. We hit London Drugs to add to our collection of makeup and then had a blast making us look GORGEOUS for our big night out. The Bombshell Shineshadow cream is really fun. It comes in different shades and Caity loved it being so sparkly.
Caity is only ten, so is just starting out on exploring the world of skin care and makeup, but CoverGirl is a great place to start that journey and good makeup habits mean good skincare habits, so we can keep her lovely skin looking fabulous through the teen years. Katy Perry is SUCH an icon to little girls world wide. There were many many wannabies at the show last night. Much hair colour, wigs and sparkly makeup to be seen. I think my girl was the classiest though 🙂
My Caity was THRILLED to meet THE Katy just before the show. We didn’t get too long, just a photo, but my daughter was happy with such a cool experience. Then we rushed back to our seats to sing along to Roar, the opening tune and then everyone pretty much sang along to every single song for the next two hours. Her and her band and dancers did a great job of entertaining their all ages crowd, with fantastic costumes and heartfelt chit chat from Katy herself. She is perfect for Covergirl. She shows that you can be girly, feminine and fun and still be strong and independent.
Covergirl has many great products. Their Clump Crusher mascara has been a long time fave of mine and I love their Outlast 3 in 1 foundation. Covergirl is another great brand from Proctor & Gamble and another brand I am happy to talk about as a P&G Mom.
