While us parents of public school kids in BC are not sure WHEN our kids will be going back to school. I have noticed that the weather today switched to ‘FALL’ and so we all wondered where our long pants and sweaters were after living in shorts and t-shirts for so long. So thank goodness our local Target is packed with good deals on all things back to school for the kids….from clothing, to school supplies to great room/office organizers, I have been enjoying the catalogue and cruising the store.
I like the Target collection for the kids because they can find things for themselves there that mom approves of.

My kids went through MASSIVE growth spurts over the holidays, so really NOTHING fits them. Lets not forget that I am in denial that my youngest is starting Kindergarten this year, so actually having to think about her having decent clothes for full days of school hurts my heart! The older two are pretty blase about school and would frankly have no problem with the strike lingering. However, they are swayed by school supplies and Target has all that and more.
I HIGHLY recommend visiting their Back to School site. Not only do they have DISCOUNT COUPONS for their essential BTS supplies, but a downloadable check list of necessary supplies and fun videos of their cute TV spots.
On a side note, I was amazed to find a great photo frame for a weird sized print I have…..super selection of home decor at our local Target and the staff are SO nice and so friendly.
I will keep sharing any great BTS and more finds at Target. We still need a lunch kit and backpack for my son, so we will be back.
