Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

Thanks to Vancouver hosting a Winter Olympics, my kids are BIG on the winter sports and the top of the girls list of faves was and is the figure skating.  Thus it was a great privilege to be invited by Jergens to attend the 2014 Vancouver performance.

Jergens Canada

It was absolutely fantastic to see these amazing athletes and performers up close and LIVE.   Shawn Sawyer, a silver medalist is a natural born performer and dare devil.  The kids LOVED him.   Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir take my breathe away.  They are so magical together on the ice, pure magic.   Watching them with Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje dance to Pink’s Try was incredible.

Fabulous Stars on Ice

Virtue & Moir

The music they all chose was fabulous….Tara was overjoyed and knowing and loving the Top Ten tunes they skated to.  They had a fabulous mix of modern and more ‘traditional’ skating to please an audience young and old.   I honestly can barely watch these people when they are competing….I am soooo tense and worried about them.  Stars on Ice is such a treat to see them skating in  far more relaxed situation.   Though Megan Duhamel and Eric Radford are INSANE when it comes to daredevil throws and acrobatics. She is fearless.

It was really cute hearing the kids around get so excited to see Patrick Chan. He has done such an amazing job representing Canada and being such a great role model for kids and adults alike.

These athletes are truly amazing and deserve so much respect and admiration.

Thank you Jergens for the treat and do go check out their new Natural Glow line that  gives you beautiful summer colour all year long.
