Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

A Nexcare Summer with 3M Canada

August 18, 2013 by Kerry Sauriol 15 Comments

Owies and kids go together like hotdogs and buns, especially in the summer with the days are (hopefully) filled with lots of outdoor activities.   With three kids, I should have shares in companies like 3M Canada and Nexcare.  We have had our share of cuts and scrapes over the holidays.  It is a fact of life that you  can’t avoid and finding bandages that stay on and don’t hurt TOO much when you take em off is crucial.

Funnily enough I had just purchased a couple of boxes of Nexcare brand bandages when I was contacted by 3m Canada about trying out their product line.    I had spent a bit of time at the drugstore reading labels and trying to decide what brand would work for our family and truly felt that their bandages would work best for the types of wounds we are all getting and survive the rough and tumble nature of the kids here.

What I like is the variety of shapes and sizes Nexcare carry.

This is just a SAMPLE of the shapes, sizes and types of bandages Nexcare provides.   Nexcare kindly sent us a variety of their product line to try out (IF we need them!)  Our favorites are the Waterproof Clear types….they are great for all the swimming we have done.  MOM tends to get scraped knees from horsing around in the shallow end with the kids. My kids love the Tegaderm + Plus Pad and the clear one’s.  These large covering are great for active adults and kids who deal with the likes of road rash.

3M Canada and I would love for you share our ‘joy’ at being stocked up with our first aid equipment and offer you the same basket of Nexcare products that I received.

To enter please visit the  Nexcare site and tell me what type of bandages YOU might find the most useful in your home.

Contest will finish as summer roles up on August 30th.

the waterproof clears, because there’s nothing more annoying than having to keep using new bandages every time you do dishes or wash your hands!

The Active Waterproof bandages because they are less restricting and waterproof. Ideal for summer activities.
