AZStrands – Hair Extensions

Refresh and Update Your Look with Hair Extensions

You lead a busy life. Step back. Take a deep breath. An ideal solution for any woman facing stress (be it from work or family life) is about to be revealed. Updating and refreshing your look, while enjoying spa-like attention, no longer requires the pampered client to go to multiple places of business. Finding a speciality sanctuary like the one showcased atwww.azstrands.com, offers an oasis where one can get custom and professional hair extensions while enjoying the ambiance that differs from the noisy, tiresome standard beauty salons we are all too familiar with. Getting more for your money while making the most of your relaxation time can go hand-in-hand for the woman who takes the time to research her options. After all, you deserve the best quality when it comes to your hair, as well as specialized one-on-one attention.

Three Points of Consideration

When getting hair extensions the quality, the salon artist’s experience, and the application process are key when it comes to providing a soft, comfortable, natural look and feel. Celebrities such as Sharon Stone, Amy Winehouse and Hilary Duff are just a few women who serve as standing examples of what quality and innovative work is being done in the realm of hair extensions. The first thing one should investigate into while selecting the right salon is the artist’s expertise. There are many salons out there staffed by people who have turned to the industry as a way to make ends meet (pun intended) in a downed economy.  They are not true artists. Be sure to interview your salon. Find out how many years they have invested into the field. Ask for their qualifications. Take it even further and ask why they have chosen an active role in this industry. A true hair artist who creates beautiful work does so because it is his/her passion, and not just a job.

The second thing to examine is procedure. Traditional methods of installing hair extensions involve glue, heat and chemicals to fuse the extensions to the client’s own hair. This is a common method, but it is invasive and causes damage to the hair. Look for a salon that offers innovative, modern methods such as the damage-free “strand by strand” method. This process is not only better for you, but it is faster too.

The third thing to consider is quality. It doesn’t matter what fancy names salons call the hair extensions, or where they claim the hair came from. You will want to ask the salon how long the extensions typically last. If you get an answer of 3 or 4 moths, then the quality is very poor. Paying a little less for hair that will wear out quickly is not cost saving. However, paying a little more for good quality hair extensions that can last up to a year will pay off in huge savings over the months to come.

Innovative and Modern

Hair extensions are not the “weaves” of the past. Due in part to innovative and modern methods, hair extensions have engulfed current trends. In a beauty article published by The Huffington Post, the author examines hair extensions as being one of the biggest trends in fashion. She continues to state that extensions make any woman look better in photos and on camera, as depth and texture are added. Also, a trained professional will be able to match the right colour  and fit the product to accompany unique facial structures and skin tone. The article supports that hair extensions have evolved and changed quite a bit. Therefore, finding a salon that stays current in the industry and that understands the art and science behind how hair extensions play into the world of fashion, will give that highly coveted Hollywood look and feel to their clients.

Enjoy your Metamorphose

When following the tips in this article, you will be better prepared to find a salon that strays from the traditional beauty shops, that use antiquated methods and inferior products. Interview the hair artist. Question the quality of their extensions, and ask probing questions to determine if there is passion behind their work. When it comes to relaxing “you time”, both you and your hair need only demand the best to look and feel fabulous.

Glue is hard and applies a lot of pressure to the hair. The chemicals also react on the hair. I used to do ‘double fusion’ before this new system became available. I would be so neat and careful applying the extensions, but, there would still be a lot of damage and the matting. That’s a whole another story. And another story is the finger blisters. hair extensions
