My Friendship Bracelet and Barrette Maker

December 20, 2011 by Kerry Sauriol Leave a Comment

We are getting to the fingernail biting time of trying to finish your shopping – BUT!  But if you have a few tween and preteen girls on your list and are near a Michael’s, who carry this line, these are good products to grab.

We received the Ribbon Barrette Maker and the Friendship Bracelet Maker from the people at MYFBM.COM.

What I like about both these products:

  • Everything is self contained.   No tiny bits to escape all over the house.
  • Easy to follow instructions.
  • Well made, solid…doesn’t feel like will break right away.
  • The barrettes are strong.
  • Kept Caitlyn quiet and happy deciding who to give her creations to.

They do take a bit of patience..but once Caity figured it out, she had no problem going it alone with very little supervision from me.  With the Barrette Maker she just needed me to help tie knots and thread the beads.

Caitlyn was quite chuffed with her first attempt…it is just braiding basically, but wit the help of the pegs that hold everything in place and stop you getting mixed up.  Each kit comes with a variety of ribbons and beads and barrettes.
