Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

A Hallmark Christmas

December 1, 2011 by Kerry Sauriol Leave a Comment

The kids go mental when a box arrives from Hallmark.  They cannot wait to see what sort of fun things are there to make the season or celebration more fun.  I think they outdid themselves with the sampling from their Holiday Collection for 2011.  Hallmark certainly put us all in the Christmas spirit.

There are no words when you daughter is wearing an Elf Hat that sings Christmas tunes and MOVES to them as well, while she rocks out with the Merry Okee singalong microphone  that can make you sound like an elf.   The Rockin Talkin Hat is on sale for $19.99 and the Merry Okee goes for $14.95.  We are not sure why Tara just sings ‘flower, flower, flower’ over and over when it is her turn.

The interactive toys and books are really sweet and “Jingle the Husky Pup” is no exception.  I love Tara’s face when the dog barks and sings when he hears the magic words.  All the interactive storybooks are a great way to get kids excited about reading.  Jingles is value priced at $29.95.

A gift for wee one’s at any time of the year are Hallmarks recordable stuffies, including the Make-A-Wish Recordable Bear.  Tara has been cuddling the one we received and the recording is easy to do and redo if you mess up!

As always, Hallmarks selection of cards is great including the UNICEF boxed cards that run from between $13 to $20.

I want to thank the PR people behind Hallmark and the Life is a Special Occasion concept.  I have been very impressed with the great products Hallmark has provided me to review.   Hallmark is also presenting a new look for their Gold Crown stores.  Products include home decor, baby gifts, seasonal, and, of course, greeting cards for ALL occasions
