Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

I won’t lie….the snot issue with Tara is becoming a problem. Her nose has not stopped streaming in days. It is truly horrific. There isn’t enough disinfectant in the world to clean the trail of germs she leaves around the house.

Needless to say, we are all waiting to get sick.

Adam seems to be first with a minor sniffle.

However, the viruses that attack school age children are very specific little critters. The can lay dormant for many hours only to arise and overwhelm their victim at key moments.

Key moments like going to school.
Swimming with friends is okay.
Playdates are okay.

No sign of the virus…..

But time for school? Time to eat dinner? Time to go to bed?

Then watch out….you will have fevers, chills, coughing and sneezing and laying at deaths door, unless there is an Xbox nearby and then he may be able to hang on a little longer.
