Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

Short Dark and Handsome

October 7, 2009 by Kerry Sauriol 4 Comments

So according to my son….according to at least ONE girl in his class….THIS is what he looks like.Edward Cullen

Apparently, in grade one he and this girl were playing ‘Twilight’ and Adam had to play Edward and this girl was Bella and they kissed on the LIPS!!!

I am apparently hearing this now, because she told him that she wants to kiss him on the lips again, being that now they are older and more sophisticated grade two’s.

I knew being the ’emo’ kid in class would amount to SOMETHING.  Sheesh.

There is this OTHER girl..she moved into our complex over the summer.  She is a tad too sophisticated and wordly for my comfort…for a 7 year old.  She spent the summer swearing up and down that she was actually nine.

She and Adam fought like cats and dogs.  However, now that she is in his class and according to Adam having a bit of a time making friends and or getting into trouble with the teacher, she has now set her cap for him.

The were playing ‘family’ the other day.  This consisted of them laying under blankets together.     Hmmmm

If this was with another girl, I wouldn’t have so many issues with this, but since she  – at the age of 7- has been seen wearing mini’s and high heels, alarms bells tend to go off.

Apparently, on picture day, some of the girls told him he was very handsome.  One of his GUY friends told him he looked good enough to date.

Heh.

He is a good looking wee kid.

I have to admit, dealing with the girls is something I am so not looking forward to. Lucky for me my son is only 14 months, so I have a few more years to go.

And I do agree, you have a good-looking kid on your hands. Maybe too much for your own peace of mind. 😉

Wow it starts that young! Erg. My son is almost three and recently started preschool so I think I’m safe for a little while…although this one little girl DID make a special point of saying good-bye to him the past couple days at school.

As a mom we screech when we hear of such things! I’m sure hubs is shouting from the roof tops that his son is a ladies man. I am NOT looking forward to these times with my blue eyed son and his 10 feet long eyelashes. *LOL* Best of luck to you keeping him “out from under the covers”.
