Yes, I am alive…barely thanks to the sudden arrival of spring this Monday morning.
We had GLORIOUS weather over the weekend and it caused a rush on pollination and budding and I woke up with a stuffed head and a runny nose and NOTHING is really helping me right now.
Walking misery is this. It has sapped all the energy right outta me.
Which pisses me off as I do have LOADS to get done and deal with…just no energy to do it.
Some GOOD news though. We enjoyed driving out to the country in said nice weather on Sunday to meet our new nephew – Logan.
He was born on Saturday and is very cute. However, due to a rough delivery and some ‘meconium’ ingesting, he was in a little incubator and in isolation, so the kids couldn’t meet him. But doing well. They had him off the oxygen and was just on a course of antibiotics for ‘just in case.’ They were hoping to get him out of isolation by Monday. I need to call and see how he and mommy are doing.
So yeah, it is 1:30. Caity is still in her pj’s playing Batman Lego and the dishes are not done.
I did get myself showered, but then had to lay down to recover from it.
I do not have enough Easter stuff for the kids and promised family I would do a nice dinner on Sunday for all.
Hah.
