Things we Should NOT Attempt with Kids..

– Late night shopping at furniture stores.

And while yes, the lady did get a sale and probably an okay commission from it…I am sure they were glad to see the back of us last night.

Picture….the one child who we ARE buying furniture for..bored and just wants a fuzzy pillow…as seen hopefully in this picture.

The other child is HYSTERICAL because there is BARBIE PRINCESS FURNITURE!!!!

And she wants it all.  Though she is more focused on the little pink jewellery box on display with it all.

Sigh.

They haven’t eaten yet either.

Yes..we are THAT good at parenting.

It is about 8 pm.

And it gets better….then we took them for sushi.

The restaurant LOVED the piercing cross voice of my daughter demanding her sushi NOW!!!!

I am happy that by the end of this weekend, my son’s bedroom will look pretty cool AND help him keep it clean and organized…and it will be nice to chuck out all the old shabby stuff.

We already got rid of the ancient and broken down change table he was using as a bookcase.

And sadly I will have to get rid of our glider rocker since the dog basically ate it and I can’t imagine sitting snuggling a baby in it for fear of splinters.   And it is stuffed in Adams room anyway with no room anywhere else for it.
