So really, it is a happy day. The Crunchy Husband and I are celebrating ten years of being married.
We have actually known and dated each other for a lot longer than ten years…you can tell by the styles in these photos just HOW long it has been!
This was, I think, our first valentines! Aww….not the perm and his wacky jacket.
This was after the infamous ‘THERE’S A BUG IN MY EAR’ incident on our first camping trip together. Patrick is not the most outdoorsy person. Note his school jacket. What a jock.
Ah when I was young and slim, and the dude had a lot of wacky hair. This was at an amazing Christmas dinner friends put on for a bunch of us. It was FORMAL. We had such a good time. There was dancing in the basement too!
So yes, we have been together about 17 years, I think. And many people said it wouldn’t last. Yet here we are gamely going along..doing the family thing. Making it up as we go.
