Hmmm yes, my computer is still not fixed….apparently I will get a call today or tomorrow about it.

I am borrowing hubbies one right now while he is at work and the kids have wandered off again to annoy my mom.

I have a hard time typing with the hubsters pc though.  He is  ROUGH with his keyboard …much angry typing going on..there is a DENT on the shift key and some of the letters are worn away and for some reason, even though I learned touch typing and all that (does anyone under 35 know what that is?) having blank keys seems to throw me right off.

I have actually been feeling a bit blank on blogging anyway. 

I have been enjoying commenting and sharing in discussions online and in real life, but a bit em…blank in a whole post on its own.   I save my political rantings for other people’s sites!

Plus, I keep getting a sore wrist on this thing.

Anywho..

Adam seems to be settling in okay at school.  His two teachers seem very nice.  Very laid back.  He has also decided to try the ‘Hot Lunch’ program..which STUNNED me.   This boy does not eat.

Ok..he won’t eat for me…but for complete strangers and peer groups, no problemo.

So there he is..gone from 8:45 till 3 pm.

Then he disappears out with his friends till we drag him inside when it is getting dark.

He is gone again.  Caity is his shadow.  

They got in a heap of trouble yesterday because they wandered waaay beyond my hearing and sight..off with some older kid…who weirdly and creepily is called Cane.  

I kid you not.

So that is life around here.

Crunchy Husband was sick again…let us hope he is healthy for our anniversary…ten years on the  26th.  We are hoping to get away over night.  Whee.

I suppose I should go see where the children are…AND take the dog out.

I have walked enough.  Nana and I went to see the schools Terry Fox run today and ended up walking WITH Adam and his class.

Then Adam begged me to walk to pick up Caity…granted the weather is gorgeous and we should drive less…but I didn’t fancy carrying milk home..so there went my cunning plan.

So instead, I am going to take a break and then try to accomplish some boring mundane tasks before the huz comes home and not yell at the kids.
