A: That Nibs Island was good….why they call it after candy?

Me: NIMMMMM It’s NIM’s Island…named after the little girl.

A: Oh.

A: AAAAH but it shouldn’t be called that.

Me:….why not?

A: Cos that isn’t her name?

Me: ….

Me: What do you mean? That is the girls name.

A: Nooooo she is ACTING ‘member. The girl playing Nim ..that isn’t her REAL name…she is just playing her.

Me. (Oh god) Yes..but she is ACTING in a movie about a little girl called Nim who lives on a cool Island….THAT is what the movie and book is about.

A: Yes but Nim isn’t her REAL name.

Me: But that is the movie.

A: But she is just acting.

Me: …

Me: Isn’t that what I just said!????

Me: Oh look Daddy is home.

Cute movie by the way….though Caity was perturbed by the perceived cruelty to lizards and skinks that was involved. It did keep them fairly quiet for the afternoon. And Gerard Butler is always nice to watch.
