BlogHer Hangover Continues

I haven’t got the brain power to put together my FULL thoughts on it all yet…I seem to have the same cold I had two weeks ago.

I am feeling a bit out of it and have just focused on the ‘family duties.’

I met a lot of wonderful bloggers…new friends and people I really wanted to meet.

I MISSED a lot of bloggers that I wanted to meet too..that upsets me.

I wish they had t-shirts with everyone’s blog names, so I didn’t have to stare hard at people’s chests and nametags…I also suck at remembering REAL names vs. BLOG NAMES.

Add my ever worsening social anxiety and it got a bit overwhelming for me.

But I had my friend with me….she kept me company….I kid you not….She was my companion when I felt lonely…

Aaaah Magnetoboldtoo…what would I have done without you?

I wish I had more FUN photos of my ‘companion’ but I was feeling loserish enough to spend my lonely time snapping photos of her throughout the conference….I was even starting to TALK to my little Aussie Ninja.

Sigh.

THANK GOD that PhatMommy/Shannon and Liz from This Full House took me under their warm n cuddly wings when I staggered into the People’s Party.

They rock…..totally wonderful people.

I also need to thank Debra..…she let me be her roomie for my two nights and was great…it was very nice to meet you!

Everyone is adding photos to a Flickr group.…go see for some laughs. There is photos of me there…proof I was actually interacting with these people.

I will get through my wee stack of cards to say hi and thanks for meeting ya and being nice to me…

But I want to say that Canuckinexile – Amber from Crazy Bloggin Canuck – rocks my world….I made a new friend. Thanks for playing tourist with me and letting me blather on.

I will do some link love and all that with the stack of cards I have…..
I also need to gather my thoughts about the whole BlogHer experience…sessions, A-listers, etc., but I think I need some cold medicine first.

I AM glad I went. I DO think it was worth it…I think I could do better and would have done better had I had a laptop or something to keep up with the twittergossip that was flying…but oh well.

I did it.
