Four years ago today, by this time, I was probably sitting in my hospital room chatting on the phone while Caity snoozled in her little bassinet.
Her birth was remarkable in how FAST it was and how great I felt afterwards…compared to the WEEKS of recovery from Adam.
She came out screaming and angry. She looked like my MOTHER IN LAW!
But she got cute quick.
This was her when we brought her home.
This was her at two months.
This is her now..
My Princess.
She is a force of nature….emotions sky-rocket from zero to sixty in seconds flat…she is passionate.
She is full of glee and mischief. She has a WEIRD sense of humour.
She certainly keeps us on our toes.
She tries our patience……but the hugs and kisses make up for it. As do the laughs.
She had a blast yesterday.
We surprised her with a 20 minute pony ride/lesson for her and Adam and her little friend Ella.
She was beaming.
She had a perfect afternoon of play and fun….and no tears were shed.
Phew.
