So….
Life at the house of Crunch is a series of ups and downs…
I assume you get that I have been feeling slightly frustrated by what life/fate/gods keeps chucking at us.
We had a small glimmer of cheer yesterday.
I had a lovely chat with a woman entrepreneur who is looking for a part time assistant. She sounded awesome. I am, however, in doubt of me being able to do it now because…
Crunchy Husband seems to have gotten a full time job.
Contract and Freelancing had sort of dried up for him lately….he was getting a bit panicked.
However, he had been working part time with a locally run movie site and they appear to want him full time.
I do hope it works out. They appear to be a nice crew and CH likes them a lot.
But this means I am now alone like a REAL SAHM.
I have no adult to rant to..cept my poor mom…who is no doubt sick of hearing me.
So today…I have sort of slacked off on parenting while doing exciting things like laundry and cleaning closets and hung round cyberspace of course.
The kids have been fed and are happy playing Xbox..see baaad momma. However..his time is almost up and they have been assigned some TASKS upstairs before they are allowed any more “fun” stuff!
It is weird to not have him lurking around. I haven’t heard from him all day either.
Not used to that.
Things do have a way of working out, don’t they?
I am so happy and relieved for you.
So, per your tweet from yesterday, I guess I’ll see you at BlogHer? 🙂

Oh man. I know that feeling of being left to do it all by yourself. Hang in there!

The trick here with the xbox is let them play “educational” games (or at least ones that fall under the guise of educational, there are lots that qualify if you’re loose with the interpretation of the word 😉 As a SAHM of a 4 year old boy, that and his Nintendo DS have saved me a lot of frustration when I’m trying to get anything done around the house that requires no little people underfoot.
Congrats to you on your potential employment and to your hubby on his!
