Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

A Birthday

May 30, 2008 by Kerry Sauriol 7 Comments

PARTY is this Sunday…but yesterday was a birthday mixed in with routine of a school day.

Popcorn for his class

The day before, we diligently popped and bagged 20 bags for his classmates. He enjoyed it.
Find the Hidden Gifts
He likes us to hide his gifts…..It was a special time while Caity was still at preschool.
NINTENDO!!!!
And more gifts…..though the Nintendo has been the gift from the gods for him.
Thanks Nana

It was all a bit much for Caity…

Too Much Fun
Then it was dinner at a restaurant of HIS choice – Red Robin’s. He LOVED when they came and sang a Birthday son for him..blew him away.
Free Ice Cream?
It was a lovely evening. Warm. Wel, warm for this unusually chilly May weather. So..I suggested casually that we perhaps take the kids to the Drive In. They have been raving about seeing Indiana Jones 4 and Iron Man and we knew both shows would be really too boring for their little brains..but at the drive-in????

Well…

What Movie?

We made a nest in the back of the car to watch the show….it was fun to sit on the back and enjoy the evening. But it didn’t finish till close to 2 am!

Long drive home for them…but they did great.

I haven’t been to the drive-in since before Adam was born.

I second Kelley, can you plan my birthday. I would so love to be in the car and watch 2 of the biggest movies out.

And could someone please explain why Red Robin is torturing us. I have never been, but they keep showing the commericals and there is not one in our area. Stop with the torture Red Robin, but would you please sing to me?

    Happy Birthday, Adam! ๐Ÿ™‚

I would love to go to a drive in but they don’t have them here. My son drives us nuts if we try to take him to the movies.
It looks like he had a great day.
