Crunchy Carpets

Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

I Got Scammed!

April 21, 2008 by Kerry Sauriol 5 Comments

Well, no…I was stupid and didn’t look closely enough.

But I trusted them. It was at my own little corner store. They talk to my kids for goodness sake!

THIS is what I thought I was buying…..

THIS is what I bought. Notice the differences???

One of these things is NOT like the other….one of these things DOES NOT WORK!!!

I will be returning the offending item today.

Sheesh

For some reason, I find it fascinating that the Chinese package their batteries horizontally.

No wonder our countries can’t get along.

I don’t get it. Do the Asian batteries and Canada items not get along? They look like the same batteries just different packing?

    Good luck.

That’s hilarious! My husband’s company is on the border of Chinatown (in Vancouver) and we’ve bought some of those batteries in desperation once. (I think the office needed them for the Wii controllers.) In any case, need I say they lasted for about 20 minutes in total. AND, you could squish them between your fingers. There’s a safe activity! Good luck with your refund.
