Crunchy Carpets

Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

This Breaks My Heart

February 8, 2008 by Kerry Sauriol 8 Comments

This poor woman….at the same hospital I was at.

I wonder who her OB/Gyn was.  Once again…Doctors not listening to mothers own instinct.

I am absolutely sickened.

All the way to the end…..and then this.

What a nightmare.

Never trust the system, always trust your instinct. How sad.

PS Let us know what the test results are from your blood work. I hope they have some answers for your loss.

Healthcare here in the US isn’t much better, and no matter what condition you are in you MUST make the doctors listen. Sounds like this poor woman couldn’t even get through the lower levels to get input from an actual physician.
    Unforgivable.

I don’t even know what to say. I guess that I am glad that my doctor listens to me. Wow.

That is sad. I’m stunned that she was treated in such a way. They have paper that works like litmus paper to determine if a woman is leaking amniotic fluid or not. It would have been such a simple test, and they could have taken more action if she was leaking amniotic fluid.

Without an official autopsy report, I don’t know if the baby died as a result of hospital neglect, but it is something worth investigating. Sad.

Very tragic story. It’s true that we as women should trust our instincts. I can only imagine her pain. I know someone here in the US that this happened to as well.
