Crunchy Carpets

Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

I did it!

January 9, 2008 by Kerry Sauriol 8 Comments

I took the poor dog for a walk. In the rain. In the dark. My old power walk route. I even dragged mom kicking and screaming away from ‘Coronation Street’ to do so. I haven’t really walked since around April of last year when my Mother in Law had her heart attack.

I had to walk of the calories and guilt for feeding my family McDonalds……again.

Last night it was sushi on the way home from the Great Grandmothers old folks home visit. Tonight it was after a trip to the comic shop that Crunchy Husband insisted we had to all go after the daycare kids headed home.

This is what the kids picked out to buy!

Yep…..Old Kirk himself!

And old ‘no eyes’ here too….he thought he was cute!

This was Caity’s choice….SHE HAS MAKEUP!!!!

And check out that silicon!!!

Is Supergirl a better role model than Barbie??

I blame this.

Ok…I blame allowing our kids to watch that and then let them watch Alien vs. Predator…..because really, after watching them in bathroom together (bathrooms are really funny to 3 and 5 year olds), how can it be scary?

I can’t figure out how to embed Youtube stuff in my blog!

It’s really easy to put youtube videos on your blog. Just go to the video you want on the youtube site and look over on the right. There will be some html code. Go to your post and just put that html code where you want the video to show. You have to be looking at your post in html. You can email me if you have a problem – I’m not an expert but have done it.

Good for you for walking again–and I’m sure the dog thanks you without end!
As for the action figures…whatever works is what is good, IMHO.
    LOVED the video!

Laughing my butt off over that video…so needed to giggle, as I just got called to the principal’s office…

Sigh. I love being a mom.

If Supergirl were really she’d fall over faster than barbie, the gravity on those suckers! HAHAHA

Woohoo for the walk. I bet poochie was happy.

On YouTube there is a box with code that says “embed” at the beginning, copy all that code and paste it in your post. It should work. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey, try going to your dashboard, click on “My Profile” on the upper right hand corner. Then, unclick the option of using the visual editor when writing.

That is the only way I could embed on posts!
