I was hoping to scan some oldies in, but the printer is not cooperating.
But let us talk about MY mom.
My mom and I are pretty tight.
It was just the two of us against the world for quite a while…..it has been hard to let anyone else into our inner circle.
She has had a wild ride of a life. Not quite what she envisioned. Yet here she is. My mom. My friend.

Mom and I get along like two peas in a pod.
We know each other FAR too well. Thus she is STILL here for me when I need her..even when I don’t know or say if I am needing help.
She has always worked hard at making life special for me. She finds things that she knows I would love. She always worked hard at creating special memories for me.
Despite all the things that happened during childhood……I have nothing but good memories of a happy childhood with a great mom.
For the birth of Adam she arrived at the hospital with a cooler full of supplies…..we munched on fruit cups and juice and bottled water….she was ready for anything.
She stuck through the whole ordeal.
When she would receive a panicked call from the stupid new parents she would make it across town in 10 minutes flat …Nana to the rescue.
She is a fantastic Nana.

Tonight we are going to go to a movie….just the two of us. We will munch happily on gummy bears and enjoy each other’s company …..in peace.
Happy Mothers Day!
Sounds like you have a wonderful mom! Enjoy your movie, adult conversation and not having to take anyone to the potty!
